Curtis Jackson
Q: When is the new album coming?

A: Right now, we are promoting the new single from our latest EP "Light Up the World" with an upcoming video and remix campaign. After that, we will begin focusing on completing the new project and releasing in later in the year. Stay tuned!

Q: Clearly your are one of the best vocalists of this era.  And just listening to the second half of Saturday Night  and the performances on the two solo projects ,  is there full length jazz album on the horizon.

A: Wow, great question! I actually studied Jazz Vocal Performance at Temple University and have a great interest in Jazz Music. My favorite Jazz Vocalists are Carmen McCrae, Shirley Horn, Jimmy Smith, Sarah, Ella and Joe Williams, who is also known as a great drummer. I would love to do a full length project in the future. There are so many great musicians that I'd like to play with!

Q: Can you please come to Atlanta and perform???
A: Yes, absolutely! I love Atlanta! I can't wait to come and perform there!

Q. I enjoy singing and have the gift of ministry but cant seem to get anywhere but the four walls of my church. I enjoy ministering and want to branch out even if it's starting small.  What do you suggest?

A: Starting out, exposure is the best thing you can have. People need to hear your voice. Open mics are a good place to start. I sang in talent shows, plays, everything. Eventually, your gift will make room for you if it's a part of your purpose. Get around people who are doing the same thing, other singers and musicians. But, in the long run still try to develop your sound so that there is some distinction in what you do. For now, I would suggest meeting and talking to people who do what you want to do, and get up on the stage whenever you can and sing!
